Today's meal was really easy to put together. Below is the simple recipe. It was ready in less than 20 minutes which was great because I was gone most of the day. Taco salads made with ground turkey!
Ingredients:
1 lb ground turkey
1 onion chopped
seasoning (garlic salt, onion salt, a little cumin, pepper, paprika, and whatever else you like!)
1 can corn
1 can seasoned black beans
1 can tomatoes with green chilies
chips/tortillas or taco shells
lettuce
cheese
sour cream
avocado
green onion
salsa
any other toppings you want
Process:
Fry turkey and onion until browned. Add seasonings.
When turkey is completely cooked, add corn, black beans and tomatoes. Cook on low for another 5- 10 minutes, or until heated through. Serve with toppings!
